St. Pius X High School Sciences Center
The third phase in the development of a campus master plan designed by Turner Duran, this new two-story structure will help strengthen the curricular “STEM” offerings at this Catholic secondary school.
Set in an urban context and serving a diverse population, the new complex incorporates labs, classrooms, a media center/library, and offices. The modern design, clad in stone and brick, features a two-story atrium lobby. Previous phases completed by Turner Duran include a new student entrance, educational spaces, and exterior improvements.
A school community survey conducted by the architects helped shape the project agenda and program.
