Spring, Texas

The first phase of a multi-phase master plan for this parish north of Houston, near The Woodlands, was a new worship space able to seat 1,300, including the choir. The tradition-based architecture drew inspiration from the life of the church namesake, Edward the Confessor of England.

Rustic materials of stone and timber combine with faceted and stained glass to provide a reverent space whose acoustics are as good as its aesthetics.

Connected to the church is the newer Ministries Center, linked by a brick-columned loggia and a gathering plaza with a beautiful fountain as its focal point.
