This growing congregation, where immigrant families have come together for generations, directed the architects to design a structure visually expressive of the Mexican-American culture.

Turner Duran based the theme on a Spanish Colonial concept, translating this into an exterior of white stucco walls, red roofing tile, and Spanish baroque decorative motifs.

On the interior, timber construction, so favored in the American Southwest mission churches, centers the space on the sanctuary and creates warmth in materials that introduces visual energy into the space.
